Polka Tote & Swing Bag By Hau Hauz

We try to stay as local as we can, but we can't resist these 100% natural linen handmade silk screened bags from Finland. Each bag is unique and slightly varied. Both styles are fully lined.

The Polka tote (16 " x 12 " ) is well sized and holds quite a bit. This is the bag I use everyday and love. Comes in natural & pink & mustard yellow.

The Swing bag at bottom (13" x 23") is feminine, and oh so unique. Comes in one color.

Linen fabrics are both soft and strong, becoming softer, stronger and durable the more it is used. Linen is renowned for its spectacular durability and long life. The tensile strength of linen thread is twice as high as that of cotton and three times that of wool. Some believe that linen fibres are the most ecological of all the natural fibres.

Hau Hauz designer Satu Makkonen creates prints that are heavily influenced by Finnish and Scandinavian style and design. Strong color combinations and large prints are part of the style and design. Her work has a strong emphasis on trends, but only in a way that fits to the Hau Hauz concept.
