Clean design, exceptional quality, and a respect for the environment are the foundation for handbag designer Allison Teich’s. The leather is vegetable tanned and chrome-free. Teich only uses environmentally friendly fabrics such as hemp and linen. These fibers require no pesticides or herbicides and much less water than conventional fiber plants. Hemp grows very quickly, yielding more crop and needing less land than crops such as cotton. The TEICH philosophy extends to the production of the bags. They support local businesses and artisans.
